Sutherland granted stay for riding suspension

The California Horse Racing Board will postpone a three-day suspension for jockey Chantal Sutherland so she can ride in Sunday’s Battle of the Exes match race with former fiance Mike Smith.  The riding suspension would have covered the match race, but Sutherland requested that her suspension begin a week later.
