Laurel cancels live racing again; simulcasts open for business

Laurel Park in Maryland has cancelled its live racing program for the second consecutive day Thursday, due to the winter storm that hit the Midatlantic region. Laurel and Pimlico will remain open for simulcasting, and the track expects to be able to host live racing on Friday, with a nine-race card beginning at 12:35 p.m.
