Dubai WC stays world’s richest purse

The Dubai World Cup remained the world’s richest race in 2010, with a purse of $10 million.  The Melbourne Cup climbed four spots to be second on the list, with a purse of $5.9 million.  America’s richest race, the Breeders’ Cup Classic, held seventh place at $4.5 million.
