Jockey Martinez recovering from lung surgery after spill

Jockey Willie Martinez is recovering in a Pennsylvania hospital after needing surgery to repair lung damage suffered during a spill at Presque Isle Downs Friday.  The 40-year-old, who recorded his 3,000th win two weeks ago, is expected to be released Wednesday and may be able to return to riding in late September.
