Sen. Udall seeks ban on drugs in racing

U.S. Senator Tom Udall (D-NM) is calling for the federal government to seek a ban on performance-enhancing drugs in horse racing according to the Associated Press. Under the legislation, any person with three violations of the ban would be banned permanently from horse racing. A horse testing positive three times would receive a two-year ban.
