Louisiana Derby winner Wells Bayou exited Saturday's race in good condition, the Fair Grounds' leading trainer Brad Cox told drf.com on Sunday. The 3-year-old son of Lookin at Lucky earned 100 points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby with his victory, the Run for the Roses has been delayed until Sept. 5.

“Everything seems hour to hour right now,” Cox said. “That race could be an option. It's either that or who knows what.”
