Trainer Bill Mott said Friday his Kentucky Derby contender To Honor And Serve suffered a strain to the suspensory ligament in his left leg and is off the Derby trail.
Mott said the injury is “very common” and that To Honor and Serve would probably lose four to six weeks of training, but could ultimately make it back to the races later this year at a high level.
