Madaket Stables LLC (Sol Kumin) has purchased a minority interest in 3-year-old colts Comedian (Into Mischief) and Tikhvin Flew (Street Sense). They will both run under the ownership of Bloom Racing Stable, LLC and Madaket Stables, carrying the Bloom Racing Stable silks.
Tikhvin Flew's 2019 campaign started with a thrill after breaking his maiden first time out in a maiden special weight going seven furlongs at Aqueduct in January. He is scheduled to run in the G3 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct on Saturday, March 9th.
Comedian dominated the competition while breaking his maiden in impressive fashion in a maiden special weight even going one mile on February 18 at Oaklawn Park.
Both horses are trained by Hall of Famer Steve Asmussen.
This is not the first partnership for Madaket and Bloom Racing Stable, Madaket Stables also has a minority interest in multiple G1 winner Midnight Bisou.
Managing Partner Jeffrey Bloom continues to build one of the most successful racing companies in the industry.
“Sol and I have been very lucky together in the past and we are extremely excited about where both of these talented colts will take us,” said Bloom.
Madaket Stables is run by Sol Kumin whose entities won 74 Stakes wins including 24 Grade 1 wins in 2018.
