Champion Nyquist jogged over the main track at Keeneland Tuesday morning, and his connections report that it's been “so far, so good”, in the daily preparations for the likely Kentucky Derby favorite.
“It was very simple,” assistant trainer Jack Sisterson told the Lexington Herald-Leader. “It was his regular. He jogged twice. He showed everything we wanted to. He's happy, we're happy.”
Nyquist will gallop Wednesday, jog Thursday, and work on Friday. Trainer Doug O'Neill will be at Keeneland for the work; he is expected to arrive Thursday.
