After a five-year split, officials from NYRA, Churchill Downs and the Maryland Jockey Club are working together to put the three race Triple Crown series back on the same network. This comes after NYRA had negotiated its own deal with ABC in 2006. “It's hard to put together a marketing program for the Triple Crown when you don't have all of the races on the same platform,” NBC Sports President Ken Schanzer said. Here's to hoping they can work this out. It would be a shame for this split to go on any longer than it already has.
