Vision Perfect #8 ridden by Frankie Pennington won the $200,000 Grade III Parx Dash at Parx Racing in Bensalem, Pennsylvania on July 7, 2018.

Seventh in this race last year, Mr. Amore Stable's Vision Perfect was able to secure the victory in the 2018 G3 Parx Dash, fending off Pool Winner by a head at the wire. Off at 7-2, the 6-year-old son of Pollard's Vision earned his first graded stakes victory for trainer Jason Servis. Frankie Pennington rode Vision Perfect through the five furlongs over a turf course rated “good,” stopping the clock in :57 flat. Heavy favorite Pure Sensation finished third.

Pure Sensation broke well, but Pool Winner was right alongside and shook clear to lead by a length in the first quarter mile. Vision Perfect was in a perfect spot just outside Pure Sensation in third, and was able to come to even terms with the leading Pool Winner around the far turn. Pool Winner was very game, and battled back after losing the lead, but came up a head short at the wire as Vision Perfect held on. Pure Sensation could do no better than third.

Bred in Kentucky by Robert Spiegel, Vision Perfect is out of the Speightstown mare Steamy. His record now stands at 6-3-5 from 29 starts, with earnings over $600,000.
