Thiskyhasnolimit outdueled game rival Gladding to take the Grade 3, $200,000 Texas Mile Stakes at Lone Star Park Saturday.

With Justin Shepherd riding, Thiskyhasnolimit angled outside at the top of the stretch and came after Gladding, who helped set the pace.  The two horses separated from their three rivals and surged to the wire neck-and-neck.  Just before the finish line, Thiskyhasnolimit got up by half a length in 1:37.28 for the mile.  Dreaminofthewin finished third over Friesan Fire.

Theskyhasnolimit is owned by Cathy and Bob Zollars and Mark Wagner.  He was bred in Kentucky by Stud Tnt.  Trained by Steve Asmussen, he's a four-year-old son of Sky Mesa out of the Deputy Minister mare, Lovely Regina.  He's now five for 16 in his career.
