Two-time Horse of the Year Wise Dan continues to train well and it appears as though a return to racing may come very soon.

Trainer Charlie LoPresti told the Blood-Horse on Tuesday he's pointing the 8-year-old gelding to the G1 Ricoh Woodbine Mile.

This past Sunday at Keeneland, Wise Dan breezed six furlongs in 1:14, going in company.  He galloped out seven furlongs in 1:26 1/5.

“He worked very well,” LoPresti told the Blood-Horse. “We put a horse in front of him and he caught him; he was full of run the last part, he galloped out a long ways. We pressed him pretty good. I wanted to get a real good work in him, and he finished out real strong.”
