Rahystrada held off a late-running Dullahan to win a historic third Grade 3 Arlington Handicap at Arlington Park on Saturday. Piloted by Rosie Napravnik, the 9-year-old gelding picked up his 14th lifetime victory in his 44th career start. He previously won the race in 2012 and 2010, and also has wins in the Grade 3 Kentucky Cup Turf Stakes and Grade 3 River City Handicap.
Rahystrada is campaigned by Byron Hughes for owner Robert Courtney Jr.
Rahystrada was bred in Kentucky by Jaime Carrion, Trustee and is the son of Rahy and Deputy Minister mare Ministrada.
Late-flying competitors Temeraine and Dullahan were second and third. The final time for the 1 ¼ miles on the turf was 2:01.66.
