FTBOA lobbying for Thoroughbred license in Marion County

The Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association board is preparing final prep on an application to the state to bring Thoroughbred racing to Marion County. A provision in last year’s bill signed by then governor Charlie Crist allowed among other things for the FTBOA to convert their Quarter Horse permit to a Thoroughbred permit.
