Night Prowler Flies Late To Win Dania Beach

Paul Pompa's Night Prowler got rolling late in the game to win his first stakes race in the Grade 3, $100,000 Dania Beach at Gulfstream Park Saturday.

A Lot finished a close second; Croninthebarbarian was third.

The 3-year-old gelding, trained by Chad Brown, was third in his stakes debut last out, the Pulpit Stakes at Gulfstream Park West Nov. 29. His record now stands at two wins and two thirds from four starts. Javier Castellano was aboard the winner.

Bred by his owner in Kentucky, Night Prowler is by Coolmore stallion Giant's Causeway out of Mary's Follies, by More Than Ready.
