Neck 'n Neck took command at the top of the stretch and drew off to a convincing victory in the $100,000 Matt Winn Stakes (gr. III) at Churchill Downs June 16.

Jockey Leandro Goncalves kept Neck 'n Neck (Flower Alley-Bootery, by Storm Boot) in the clear on the outside of the compact field of five through much of the race, as Right to Vote set the early pace. As the field rounded the far turn, Neck 'n Neck edged past Right to Vote and had opened a clear lead at the top of the stretch.

Neck 'n Neck continued to draw off through the stretch, crossing the wire in front by 7 1/4 lengths. Stealcase got up for second, a neck in front of Macho Macho.

Final time for the 1 1/16-mile contest was 1:43.72 over a fast main track.
