Delaware Park's live racing card for Monday, May 13, has been cancelled due to insufficient entries at the Wilmington, Del., racetrack and casino.
Live racing will be conducted this Saturday, May 11, after 48 horses were entered for an eight-race card that begins at 1:15 p.m. ET.
Saturday's average field size of six horses per race is a decline from the 6.36 average for the first three programs of live racing on May 4, 6 and 8. Fifty-one horses competed in nine races on Wednesday, May 8, an average of 5.67 runners per race. Five of the nine races had five-horses fields.
The races that filled on the Monday, May 13, card will be brought back as extra races for the Wednesday, May 15, card.
