Even though he's been riding for 30 years, jockey Mike Smith isn't showing signs of slowing down.
The Hall of Fame rider will be competing in his 19th Kentucky Derby when he climbs aboard Bodemeister in the 138th Run for the Roses Saturday.
“I'm in a good place right now – mentally, physically,” he said. “I just want to keep that going. For whatever reason, it's all working, and I just want to keep it that way.”
