No Parole made a big splash on debut Sunday at the Fair Grounds, romping by 14 1/4 lengths in the six-furlong maiden special weight event. The 2-year-old son of Violence ran six furlongs over a fast main track in 1:10.24, earning a 90 Beyer Speed figure in the process, according to the Daily Racing Form's Marcus Hersh.
Trained by Tom Amoss and ridden by James Graham, the Louisiana-bred colt is owned by Maggi Moss. Out of the stakes-winning Bluegrass Cat mare Plus One, No Parole was a $75,000 yearling at the Keeneland September sale.
No Parole entered Sunday's race as the 3-5 favorite off a string of four straight bullet workouts, most recently firing four furlongs from the gate in :47.80.
