American-based Imprimis and trainer Joe Orseno are preparing for their Royal Ascot debut in the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes next week, and the 5-year-old Broken Vow gelding is definitely enjoying Britain's cooler weather, according to racingpost.com.

“Fortunately the horse has handled the trip fine and this weather is chilly for me coming from Florida, but he's welcomed it,” Orseno said. “From being in warmer weather to coming here and being able to graze on the grass you have here, he's really enjoying it and loves the all-weather track we're galloping him on.”

Two-for-two this season, including winning the the G2 Shakertown Stakes at Keeneland despite a stumble in his most recent start, Imprimis will be piloted by Frankie Dettori in the King's Stand.
