HRTV (R), The Network for Horse Sports, will provide on-site coverage of the 33rd running of the Grade 1, $500,000 Stephen Foster Handicap this Saturday, June 14, from Churchill Downs.
The network's Caton Bredar will be located beneath the Twin Spires to report on one of racing's most prestigious races for older horses, which has drawn a deep field of nine, headed by Will Take Charge and Revolutionary.
The Stephen Foster will again be conducted as part of Churchill's popular “Downs After Dark” card, offering a special 6 p.m. ET first post. The Foster, contested at 1 1/8 miles on the dirt, is slated to go postward at 9:39 p.m. ET.
Bredar will offer the latest, up-to-date information on not only the Foster, but also the stakes-ladened, 11-race card, which features the Grade 2, $200,000 Fleur de Lis Handicap, and a pair of the Grade 3, $100,000 events — the Matt Winn and the Regret.
