On Wednesday Frankel returned to work for trainer Henry Cecil, reports RTE Sport.
“He did a little bit of work this morning. It was nothing very much, it was just a gentle piece, but he strode out well and everyone was very pleased,” said racing manager Teddy Grimthorpe.
Frankel's connections have said the intention is still to run in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on May 19, but they are taking things one day at a time. Frankel has also been entered in the Queen Anne Stakes and the Prince of Wales stakes at Royal Ascot in June.
