American challenger Daddys Lil Darling was one of 10 fillies declared for Friday's Group 1 Investec Oaks at Epsom.

The Oaks, run at just over 1 1/2 miles, is one of two G1 races – along with the Coronation Cup – on Ladies Day/Friday at Epsom.

Daddys Lil Darling enters the British classic of a second-place finish in the G1 Kentucky Oaks May 5. The Oaks will be just the second start on the turf for the daughter of Scat Daddy – she was unplaced in the G3 Florida Oaks in March at Tampa Bay Downs. Daddys Lil Darling is the most experienced filly in the field. The Investec Oaks will be the fifth G1 race she will compete in.

Trainer Aidan O'Brien sends out a trio of fillies in an attempt to win the Oaks for the third straight year. Overall, O'Brien has saddled six winners of the classic. His 2017 entrants are led by Rhododendron (by Galileo), winner of the G1 Fillies Mile as a juvenile. In her lone start this year, she was second to stablemate and now dual Classic winner, Winter, in the G1 One Thousand Guineas at Newmarket.

O'Brien will also send out Alluringly (by Fastnet Rock), and the maiden Pocketfullofdreams (by Invincible Spirit).

John Gosden will be represented by two fillies in the race – Juddmonte Farms' Enable (by Nathaniel), a winner of two of three starts including the Listed Cheshire Oaks in her last start and Coronet (by Dubawi), who defeated colts last year and was recently third to Sobetsu in the G1 Juddmonte Prix Saint-Alary.

Sobetsu will attempt to add to here G1 haul when she lines up at Epsom for the Oaks. The daughter of Dubawi has won two of four lifetime starts.
