Treve took command with just over a furlong to run and cruised to an impressive four-length victory in the Group 2 Prix Corrida at Saint-Cloud May 29.
Ridden confidently by Thierry Jarnet, Treve was settled in sixth behind pacesetting stablemate Silvaplana for much of the race. The 5-year-old daughter of Motivator mounted her challenge in the home straight, and once a gap opened for her, Treve rocketed through and pulled away from the field in the “blink of an eye.”
Trainer Criquette Head-Maarek told the Racing Post afterwards, “I'm obviously delighted with the way she ran. I was pleased to see the pacemaker set a decent pace and she still has that amazing turn of foot.”
Treve is expected to make her next start in the Group 1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, and then will use the Group 1 Prix Vermeille as a prep for an attempt at an unprecedented third victory in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
