Grade 1 winner Divisidero came out of his sixth-place finish in the G1 Manhattan Stakes in fine fettle and has circled the G1 Arlington Million Aug. 12 as his next start.
Trainer William 'Buff' Bradley told the Daily Racing Form Wednesday that the 5-year-old horse “…really couldn't be doing any better. Ever since he got back to Kentucky [in late March], he's been really happy.”
Although he finished sixth in the Manhattan, Divisidero was only beaten 2 1/4 lengths. Prior to the Manhattan, Divisidero captured the G1 Woodford Reserve Turf Classic.
Bradley indicated that the G1 Arlington Million will be Divisidero's next start. “I don't believe he'll run again before the Million, but I'm not going to rule that out,” Bradley told the Form.
