Santa Anita Park has announced there will be a special early first post time of 12 noon this Saturday, Sept. 29 in order to accommodate a 12-race program, which will include four Grade I Breeders' Cup “Win and You're In” Challenge Races. In addition to the 12-race card, Santa Anita will also be conducting a Hall of Fame jockey and trainer autograph signing in the track's Paddock Gardens area, with the first 5,000 fans receiving a full color HOF poster free, with paid admission.
Accordingly, Santa Anita's admission gates will open at 10 a.m. and parking lots will open to the public at 9:30 a.m.
Santa Anita's 22-day Autumn Meet, which begins this Friday, Sept. 28, will run through Sunday, Nov. 4. With few exceptions, first post time on weekdays will be at 1 p.m. and at 12:30 p.m. on weekends.
