Though the San Felipe, a Kentucky Derby prep race, from Saturday's card at Santa Anita will not be rescheduled, drf.com reported Brad Free Tweeted that the officials at the Southern California track are expecting racing to resume on March 22. The resumption of racing is still pending additional safety inspections of the main dirt course.
Meanwhile, the track released a statement on Saturday announcing that light training will be allowed on the main course on Monday.
A trio of Grade 1 races at Santa Anita have also been rescheduled:
- The Beholder Mile will be run on Mar. 23
- The Frank E. Kilroe Mile will be held on Mar. 30
- The Santa Anita Handicap will be held on April 6
