Gettysburg businessman David LeVan has decided to drop plans to develop a racetrack and casino in Adams County, Pennsylvania.

According to a report by FOX-43LeVan did not submit an application for a gaming license for the project, called Mason-Dixon Downs. “I continue to believe that a gaming project would be tremendous for the local Adams County economy, create thousands of jobs, and provide desperately needed funding for countless municipal and community projects,” LeVan added.
