AmTote's historical horse racing brand PariMAX, has surpassed the $4 billion-dollar mark in total dollars of handle wagered since the introduction of historical horse racing in January of 2000. Since this time over $330 Million has been returned to the horse racing industry, through commissions paid to local operators and horsemen and through host track fees for content that has been licensed by PariMAX.
With the launch of PariMAX 3.0 in early 2017 our operators have seen month over month growth of more than 40%. Monthly releases and new titles will drive even greater growth in the second half of the year with more than 20 new titles scheduled for the second half of 2017.
“AmTote remains deeply committed to helping race tracks monetize their valuable racing content via innovative products that engage and delight track patrons. The work that we do provides financial benefits not only to the host race tracks who provide that content, but to the industry at large, including the pari-mutuel wagering operators, horsemen, as well as the state authorities that directly oversee racing and pari-mutuel wagering. The $4B wager mark is clearly a special milestone for the PariMAX product line – when we launched pari-mutuel wagering on historical races in 2000, we knew there was potential. We are very pleased with its continued growth and the extent to which the returns have benefited horse racing,” said Keith Johnson, President of AmTote International, Inc.
