The Thoroughbred Times reports that NBC-Universal and the New York Racing Association plan to announce a deal this month for eight days of live racing from Saratoga Race Course this summer.
Preliminary plans call for NBC to broadcast three days of racing with the cable network Versus telecasting five more. The eight days include seven Saturday cards plus a Sunday, with the Travers and Hopeful Stakes among the highlighted races.
