Dennis Drazin said Tuesday that he expects Monmouth Park to be the first racetrack or casino in New Jersey to offer betting on college and professional sports this fall.
Drazin, who manages Monmouth Park for the state's Thoroughbred racing industry, said that Atlantic City's 12 casinos and the operators of New Jersey's other racetracks all appear hesitant to try and implement a state law signed by Governor Christie in May.
“We're the only ones who appear willing to go forward right now,” Drazin said. “Everyone else wants to wait and see how it plays out.”
