The Thoroughbred Racing Associations (TRA) has announced Delray Beach, Fla., as the host city for the 22nd annual International Simulcast Conference. The 2014 conference will be held at the Delray Beach Marriott, Sept. 29—Oct. 1.
The TRA co-sponsors the annual event with the Harness Tracks of America (HTA), in conjunction with the American Greyhound Track Operators Association (AGTOA).
Each year the conference attracts more than 250 racing executives and personnel to address the topics of chief importance to the pari-mutuel industry, including simulcasting, account wagering, wagering security and technology.
The Delray Beach Marriott is located at the corner of Ocean Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue, overlooking the sandy beaches of Florida's Gold Coast, and is an easy walk to a wide variety of restaurants, bistros, outdoor cafes and nightlife. Delray Beach is an easy drive to either the Fort Lauderdale or West Palm Beach airports. A special conference room rate of $149 per night will be offered.
More information will be available on the TRA website, www.tra-online.com, as the conference nears.
