Three-time Kentucky Derby winning jockey Calvin Borel was arrested for driving under the influence on Sunday in Indiana, according to wdrb.com.
Borel was pulled over on Landmark Avenue off I-64 about 6:30 p.m., and court records indicate he demonstrated slurred speech, poor balance, and that he failed a field sobriety test.
His preliminary breath test was a .193.
The Hall of Fame jockey has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person.
Borel rode three races earlier Sunday at Ellis Park, his best finish a second in the sixth race aboard Dan Peitz trainee Rodhwaan.
