Taylor Made Farm has donated both a halter worn by champion California Chrome, as well as an in-person catered lunch experience with the two-time Horse of the Year, in order to benefit the Lexington Catholic High School. Both items are currently listed on eBay; the online auctions will close on Feb. 23 at 11:40 and 11:55 a.m., respectively.
According to the eBay description, the luncheon is a “once in a lifetime opportunity to be up close with this champion.” These are the specifics: six guests will enjoy a catered lunch and sip cocktails at Taylor Made Farm with California Chrome, on a mutually agreed upon date in June or July. The winner will meet the world's leading money earner with opportunities for photographs, farm tour and special parting gifts from Chrome. The bidding site for the luncheon is available here.
The halter also includes a letter of authentication from Taylor Made Farm, and is available here.
The Taylor brothers, owners and operators of Taylor Made Farm, are long-time supporters of the Lexington Catholic High School.
