Yawn- any word yet on the Pletcher LAT situation? Or will this just be ignored like everything else that racing deems unimportant? In case your wonder the non important would include the fans(wagering public) and the horses.

what a joke how does he not get days joke!!!!!!!

  • That is a joke, 6 day’s for reckless riding is a total joke. Then he (Javier) threw the first punch and you fine Calvin more than him, for protecting himself? C’mon Man your way outta touch with reallity. I suppose you don’t think that was reckless riding making a right turn to avoid running up the asses of two horse’s that he should have known were caving in in front of him. You should be embarrassed to even call yourselve’s steward’s.

    Sounds about right.

  • Here we go again , I guess California isn’t the only place were the bettors don’t matter . You know an easy way to see if that lat tied up a blood test . But of course when your stealing the bettors money we really don’t want the truth do we stewards .

  • CAM

That was a pretty boneheaded move on Castellano’s part. He’s lucky no one got killed. Although if anyone should’ve been throwing punches, Garcia has the most reason. He’s the one who almost ate the dirt.

Pletcher and Velazquez should get a year. The three veterinary should be replaced with ESPN and Jerry Bailey for pointing out after his conversation with Velazquez that Life at Ten had a big problem. Can anyone believe Velazquez wouldn’t ask the Vets to take a look.
Plecher had the same problem two years in a row with Quality Road. Folks something is going on with Pletcher. I tried to cancel my bets but I was to late.
The BREEDERS CUP STOLE $200 OF MY MONEY by letting this go on without a word. I am sure there is Lot’s of players that LOST THOUSANDS DUE TO THE INCOMPENTENCE of the Vets and the jockey.
    Have a good day.

That’s how I feel too Buddy. I didn’t have that much bet on LAT, but she definitely should have been scratched. I don’t understand how that guy by the vets and Pletcher. And if she was tied up, to make her run like that was cruel.

I’m surprised about the leniency of these bans. In the UK a jockey guilty of such a dangerous riding offence would be looking at between 14 and 28 days off, and BOTH of them could have expected a long holiday for the fight (up to 21 days in the UK).
