Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Farm released their 2011 stallion fees today.
In Kentucky, Breeders' Cup Classic winner Awesome Again will stand for $50,000, and his son, Horse of the Year Ghostzapper will stand for $20,000. Macho Uno's fee will be $15,000 and Einstein will stand for $7,500. Both Giacomo and newcomer Plan will stand for $5,000. Red Bullet's fee is listed as private.
At Adena Springs Canada, the 2011 fees are as follows: Milwaukee Brew, Canada's #2 sire in 2010 will stand for 12,500 CDN. North Light, sire of 2010 Classic winner Arctic Cosmos in his first crop, will stand for 10,000 CDN. Sligo Bay's fee has been set at 6,000 CDN, and both Showing Up and Wilko will stand for 5,000 CDN. Giant Gizmo's fee is 4,000 CDN, and newcomer Mast Track will stand for 2,500 CDN.

In New York, the Adena Stallions standing at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds will have the following fees: Belmont winner Touch Gold will stand for $10,000, and Breeders' Cup Classic winner Alphabet Soup will stand for $6,000. Silent Name and Tiago will both stand for $5,000 and newcomer Harlem Rocker's fee has been set at $3,500.
Olmodavor will be standing the 2011 season at Magali Farms in Santa Ynez, CA for a fee of $5,000.
All fees listed above are payable when a live foal stands and nurses. However, Adena Springs will offer the following discount opportunities: Live Foal Guarantee contracts that are payable November 1st, 2011 will qualify for a 20% discount off the advertised stands and nurses price. Alternatively, breeders who pay the full advertised stud fee in their local market will be given a 20% reduction on any additional mare bred to a stallion in a different market. For example, a breeder who pays the full advertised stud fee for Milwaukee Brew in Canada will enjoy a 20% fee reduction of the advertised stands and nurses price for any stallion on the Kentucky or New York roster.
