PR Special Fasig-Tipton Saratoga NY-Bred Sale: Big, Bad Dynaformer

by | 08.13.2017 | 3:19pm

This PR Special for the second and final session of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga New York-Bred Yearling Sale concludes our series, “Exceeding Beyond Expectations,” focusing on influential stallions who went to stud without great fanfare yet made a significant impact on the breed. The final horse chronicled by Eclipse Award-winning writer Natalie Voss is Dynaformer.

Frank Mitchell's “Stallion Spotlight” looks at first-crop yearlings by Honorable Dillon, a son of Tapit standing at Rockridge Stud in New York. His ever-popular “5 to Watch” column identifies some of the top hips being offered on the sale's second night. Multiple stakes winner Pat on the Back, a 2015 graduate of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga NY-Bred Yearling Sale, is the subject of Chelsea Hackbarth's “Honor Roll” profile.

Finally, in “Ask Your Veterinarian,” Dr. Bart Barber of Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital, answers your questions about endoscopic examination scores and why it is important for a buyer to have his or her veterinarian interpret repository radiographs.
