TVG, America's horse racing network, will offer fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes feature on a recent episode of the TVG Podcast featuring Hall of Fame jockeys Mike Smith and Gary Stevens in the “Broadcast of the Podcast” which will air on February 16 at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT.

Hosted by Mike Joyce, the interview with the two legendary riders, taped at Smith's Southern California home, includes reflections on their Hall of Fame careers as well as some candid discussions and never-before-heard stories. Tune-in to hear about the years of fun, competition, occasional fighting, toughest rivalries and longstanding friendship as well as their perspectives on their craft.

“This was easily the coolest interview I've ever been a part of in my 20 years at TVG,” said TVG host Mike Joyce. “It's not every day that you get to see this side of these guys. Two Hall of Famers, telling stories that I guarantee most people have never heard before.”

Gary Stevens retired in 2018 after a Hall of Fame career that spanned nearly four decades and included three Kentucky Derby (GI) victories, 11 Breeders' Cup wins and a total of 5,187 trips to the winner's circle. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1997 and has received numerous accolades including the Eclipse Award for Outstanding Jockey in 1998. Mike Smith, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003, is still actively competing and is a two-time Eclipse Award winner (1993 and 1994). He won the Triple Crown in 2018 with Justify and has won 26 Breeders' Cup races. His career victories total over 5,500.

The TVG Podcast debuted in October and is available across streaming services including Spotify, Apple and Google Podcasts. Fans can participate on social media through the hashtag #TVGPod.
