The Daily Racing Form reported this week that new trainer Anna Meah is planning to move most of her 20 horses to Kentucky in roughly two months due to several factors, including ongoing “uncertainty surrounding California racing.”

Meah told the Form's Steve Andersen that most of her clients are based in the East Coast and wanted their horses closer. They were also interested in the significant purses in Kentucky.

Meah began training late last year, when she opened her racing stable along with husband and bloodstock agent David Meah. She trains Excellent Sunset, runner-up in the Grade 3 Robert Frankel Stakes.
