Michael Wrona will take over the announcing reins from Frank Mirahmadi beginning this Thursday at Santa Anita.

The Daily Racing Form reports that the two men will trade places, with Mirahmadi taking over announcing duties at Golden Gate Fields. Both racetracks are owned by The Stronach Group.

Wrona will call the Santa Anita races through Jan. 24, and will alternate with Mirahmadi in three-week intervals through the end of the meeting.

Both men are finalists to be the full-time replacement for Trevor Denman, who announced last month that he will no longer call races at Santa Anita.
