Jockey Kendrick Carmouche, who has been on the sidelines for four months with a broken right leg, told the Daily Racing Form's David Grening he expects to be back in the saddle sometime in early March.
Carmouche fell when his mount Chattel clipped heels and went down in the Kentucky Downs Juvenile Turf Sprint in early September.
He told Grening he has begun jogging horses and swimming, and will soon switch to more cardio-intensive exercise as he regains fitness.
