This is a big day for the Kentucky Thoroughbred industry. Please join the fight for SB 151, the bill allowing Kentuckians the opportunity to vote on expanded gaming in Kentucky. We must make sure Sen. Williams is not able to kill this bill by having a vote today when two votes in favor of SB 151 are scheduled to be absent.
You can call Senate Majority Leader Robert Stivers at 502-564-2450 or send an email to [email protected] and urge him to move the vote to Friday. You can also reach your state senator by calling 800-372-7181. A list of state senators can be found here if you are unsure who represents you.
A sample phone message and email message are below for your convenience:
Phone Message: I respectfully ask Sen. Stivers to do what he can to move the vote on SB 151 to Friday when there are no scheduled absences in the senate.
Email Message: Sen. Stivers,
Good morning! Please try to do your best to delay the Senate Vote on S B 151 until Friday.
Thank you for the work you do for KY and for your support of the industry we are so passionate about, both professionally and personally.
