On May 16, 2017 tragedy struck in Oklahoma. The tornado that passed through Elk City, Okla., and left wide spread destruction passed directly over the Newcomb Cattle Company Ranch.
Lake & Ladonna Newcomb suffered near complete destruction of their home and barns, as well as the loss of many of their precious animals. Lake has served our industry for many years. He is a past president and a current director of the OQHRA.
As horse owners we always stand together and support each other in time of need. All donations in any denomination would be greatly appreciated. Heritage Place, Inc. is facilitating this campaign and 100% of donations to this Go Fund Me account will go directly to the Newcombs.
In addition, if you would like to contribute to Oklahoma horsemen and women in time of tragedy, the OQHRA has a charitable fund called the Oklahoma Equine Disaster Fund. More details of this charitable organization can be found on the OQHRA website.
A Go Fund Me Account has been established by Heritage Place Sales, 100% of donations will go directly to the Newcomb Family. Thank you for your support in this time of need.
