Jockey Martin Garcia was released from the Huntington Memorial Hospital on Thursday, reports drf.com. Garcia was involved in a spill at Santa Anita on Wednesday, and was treated for a concussion.
The jockey will be taken off his mounts this weekend, and it is uncertain when he might return to the saddle.
“I'm going to have to get him cleared by the doctors before he can ride,” said agent Thom Mitchell. “He's feeling good, no broken bones.”
