Richard Duchossois, the energetic 89-year-old who runs Arlington Park and is Churchill Downs Inc.'s largest shareholder, provided a rosy outlook for the future of the Thoroughbred industry during the Thoroughbred Club of America's annual Testimonial Dinner in his honor, held at Keeneland on Sunday night. “This industry isn't dying,” Duchossois told the estimated crowd of 175. “There is no way we could ever think it is dying. Nor is it on life support. It has too much to offer and we're not going to waste it…I am optimistic because you are going to change the face of racing.”
