Daniel Robles' name may not be a well-known one in the racing industry. In fact, it's very likely that his name may not be familiar to many outside of trainer Doug O'Neill's barn at Santa Anita.

That doesn't mean however, that Robles is not an integral part of Team O'Neill and the horses that he takes care of.

One of the horses entrusted to Robles is Irap, recent winner of the G2 Toyota Blue Grass and a colt with a chance to win the Kentucky Derby. Horses have been an important part of Robles' life, and as he recently told Julie June Stewart in a profile for America's Best Racing, “Ever since I was little, I wanted to do this. I wanted to work with the horses.”
