Breeders' Cup Distaff entrant Midnight Bisou, trained by Steve Asmussen, at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California on Oct 26, 2019.

Breeders' Cup Distaff runner up Midnight Bisou arrived at the Fair Grounds on Friday morning, according to drf.com, to prepare to race against males for the first time in the $20 million Saudi Cup.

“I was amazed how good her attitude was, how spry and how well she came back,” trainer Steve Asmussen said. “It was very trying circumstances, she was left with a lot to do, and we're very pleased with the mare we have today.”

A three-time Grade 1 winner in 2019, Midnight Bisou is likely to face horses like Classic runner up McKinzie and stablemate Mucho Gusto. If the Saudi Cup goes well, Midnight Bisou could be considered for the Dubai World Cup, Asmussen said.
