Zenyatta's owners, Ann and Jerry Moss, trainer John Shirreffs and jockey Mike Smith will make appearances at the inaugural Breeders' Cup Zenyatta Celebration at the Kentucky Derby Museum on Championship Friday. The celebration, which starts at 11:30 a.m. with the Zenyatta Reunion Luncheon, includes an all-day hospitality retreat featuring food, cash bar and a betting machine, and ends with an after-party following the last race of the day.
“The Zenyatta Celebration is sure to become a Breeders' Cup tradition,” said Carter Carnegie, senior vice president for Breeders' Cup. “The celebration will be an amazing experience as we celebrate Zenyatta's incredible legacy.”
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Breeders' Cup Charities.
