On the same day it was reported that Breeders' Cup Juvenile future wager favorite Instagrand would sit out the rest of the year, we also learned the second choice in the future wager, Roadster, will miss the Breeders' Cup.
Both developments were reported by the Daily Racing Form's Brad Free, who quoted Baffert as saying Roadster is “not going to run for a while” and will be out of training for 60 days.
After an impressive debut victory July 29 at Del Mar, Roadster was an odds-on favorite in the Sept. 3 Del Mar Futurity but finished third behind stablemate Game Winner.
